Charlene Quincey

Diploma of Remedial Massage
Diploma of Remedial Massage / Myofascial Cupping / Pregnancy Massage / Level 1 Oncology Therapist

Charlene qualified in Holistic and Sports Massage Therapy in the UK in 2011 and worked part-time in a Chiropractic Clinic. In February 2014 she moved to Perth with her husband and 2 children in search of a slower-paced family life and of course the beautiful warm weather. Charlene’s UK qualifications were assessed here in Perth and after further studies, she completed the Australian Diploma of Remedial Massage in December 2014. The following March, she joined Currambine Massage Therapy.

At the age of 12, Charlene was diagnosed with scoliosis resulting in surgery and a Harrington rod implant. In the years that followed, she found that regular body massages provided huge relief to the tension and tightness brought on by the curvature.

When Charlene decided it was time for a career change after her children were born, she came across an advert for a course in Holistic Massage and instantly knew that massage was something she wanted to explore. Charlene believed in it and knew from experience that it is very effective in pain relief. She signed up for the course and hasn’t looked back since.

In addition to the diploma, Charlene has also completed clinical massage specifically for lower back pain and also neck and shoulder pain.

Charlene has a warm and sincere approach to massage therapy and treats each client individually. Their needs and goals are discussed and a suitable treatment plan is developed.

In her spare time, Charlene enjoys family cycle rides, walks along the beach and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Charlene can give rebates for all health funds except HCF.
